![]() ![]() Overall Thoughts On The Fantom Workstation Arranger keyboards are more so for live music because they allow you to set up a full band with a few clicks on the interface. In my opinion, I believe the Fantom competes with the Yamaha Genos, which is more so a keyboard arranger. Roland knocked the sequencer out of the park on the Fantom and I believe that this keyboard truly competes with your classic MIDI controller setup now. The screen allows you to tweak and see changes from filter sweeps to passes. The Fantom offers a visual approach that is super innovative and fun. Packed with top of the line sounds and incredible key-bed, the Roland Fantom comes in as the best keyboard workstation. The Roland Fantom has been brought back and this is impressive in pretty much every way. Roland has streamlined the process of recording even more-so with the Fantom-8 than on previous models such as the G-8. ![]() I have spent about two years with the Roland Fantom-8 and it is truly an all in one package that allows me to quickly write and produce demos for our band. ![]()
